Make Bath Salts


Bath Salts 1

Combine 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup citric acid, 1/4 cup cornstarch, 3/4 tsp fragrance oil, and 2 to 3 drops food coloring (opt).

Mix well, so that the oil is thoroughly distributed thru the dry mixture. Don't overdo the food coloring. Sprinkle 2 tbsp of the salts over the water just before you get into the tub.

5lbs. sea salt 1oz. vegetable glycerin 1/2 oz essential or fragrance oils food coloring (optional)

Combine the glycerin with the scent & coloring. Pour into the sea salt in a jar and turn to mix. Fill containers jars, etc. and scoop out with a seashell.

Bath Salts 3

1/4 cup Epsom Salts 1/8 cup baking soda 1/8 cup sea salt 10 drops essential oil

Measure all the salts into a bowl and blend them together thoroughly. Add five drops of essential oil that you enjoy and blend it in well, then add five more drops and blend. Package in an airtight container and label. To use, Add 1/4 - 1/2 cup to bath water.

Scented Bath Salts

Lg. glass or metal mixing bowl, 2 cups Epsom's salts, 1 cup sea salt, Rock salt or coarse salt, food coloring, 1/2 tsp. glycerin, essential oil for fragrance, clean dry jars w/cork stoppers or metal screw lids (like canning jars). Combine salts in bowl and mix well. Add food coloring, few drops at a time, stirring with spoon until wanted color is achieved. For white salt (for example coarse salt) skip the coloring step. Add glycerin and essential oil (4 or 5 drops) and mix well. Spoon salts into containers and seal. When giving as a gift attach tag describing scent (if used) and recommend using 1/3 to 1/2 cup in the bath. To make a bit more decorative cut a piece of festive material and place over metal cap than screw on metal ring over material to hold in place. Use a piece of ribbon or raffia string and wrap around the metal ring.

Cavern Treasures Bath Salts - For Prosperity- 1 cup salt 8 drops sandalwood oil 8 drops myrrh oil 3 drops allspice oil 3 drops cinnamon oil

Cernunnos Bath Salts

1 cup salt 8 drops synthetic musk oil 6 drops amber oil 8 drops synthetc ambergris oil 4 drops patchouli oil 2 drops pine oil 3 drops rose geranium oil 2 drops clove oil

Cerridwen Bath Salts

1 cup salt 8 drops jasmine oil 8 drops lotus oil
